The Foundation is excited to announce that in November 2013 we proudly gave $16,750 in grants to support Kirtland College and its communities.  Below are the initiatives that the Foundation will help support in the upcoming year…

Kirtland Library & Math Department 5 new graphing calculators for the Math Department.  $450

Kirtland’s Transitional Studies & Math Department National Association of Developmental Educators Conference.  $700

Kirtland Service Learning Break Away’s Alternative Break’s Citizenship.  $600

Kirtland Public Safety Kirtland Shooting Range improvements.  $1,500

Kirtland Health Sciences  Sterile IV Compounding training.  $3,000

Kirtland Facilities & Wellness Committee KCC community garden.  $2,500

KCPA Eisenhower Dance Ensemble show.  $2,500

Rose City School F.O.R. (Friends of Rachel) support & skill group.  $2,500

Economic Development Alliance for Oscoda County MiFair ACHIEVES.  $3,000


Grant Proposal Application

The Kirtland Community College Foundation has two grant cycles per year. Grant deadlines occur on the last day in April and October of any given year with grant applications due at 4:30 p.m. on these days. Distribution is based on the number of applicants per grant cycle and foundation earnings. The purpose of the granting cycle is to give monetary support for projects benefiting Kirtland’s communities and students.
